MSC Grants Extension Order to IG Investment Management Ltd.
(June 19, 2008) Winnipeg, Manitoba – The Manitoba Securities Commission (MSC) has granted an extension order to IG Investment Management Ltd. that will allow them one additional year to locate individual security holders who may be entitled to payment under the original plan of distribution.
In 2004, the commission granted a consent order concerning market timing of certain IG Investment Management Ltd. funds. Under the terms of the order, a plan of distribution was established so that security holders affected by the market timing would receive a one time payment.
